The Comfort Zone

THE COMFORT ZONE

A comfort zone is where you are comfortable with your achievements to serve your interests. It is a point where needs outside your borders are not your concern. It is points at with your ambitions have been realized and you feel the need to take a well-earned (permanent) rest. It is a point at which you resist further growth or instability. It is a point at which you have optimized your development and do not wish to take on any more challenges though you have the capacity to do so. The comfort zone is a sleeping zone without dreams. It provides an illusory rest for the gullible and weary. But it is a glass house and is often shattered by new realities that creep up on unsuspecting sleepers. It glories in past victory and victorious tradition. It can lull the most fierce critics and vociferous protagonists into a long deep dreamless sleep.
