AWARD, African Women in Agricultural Research & Development, is celebrates a decade (2008-2018) of advancing inclusive agricultural research on the continent! The occasion was graced by her excellency Dr Ameenah Gurib-Fakim the Sixth President of Mauritius. AWARD promotes the advancement of women scientists across Africa enhancing the visibility of their work for the benefit of humanity and the development of competencies that will enable women to advance to senior positions of leadership in the World of Science. I have the privilege of working with the training team that supports this noble endeavor. Congratulations to the AWARD Team and well done everyone for AWARD@10. Continue raising the standards of leadership around the world.
