To smile, to serve and to sacrifice

I was recently in a tribal conflict zone where four communities fight over natural resources and material wealth. Each of these communities fights for dominance. Religious conflicts for souls are very similar in nature. The need to dominate seems to underlie the basis of war. However, dominance is not leadership. Leadership may be attained by what Maxwell calls influence. Influence does not need to be violent. Three things are needed. To smile, to serve and to sacrifice.
