Organizations are the ships that leaders use to navigate the universe. Without a ship, a leader can't travel far. With a ship, a leader eyes the horizon. A good ship, can handle a storm. And get passengers safely home. A poor ship, will need repair, before it leaves the shore. The state of the ship decides the goal. A leader, apart from the ship, is going nowhere. The two must come together if there is going to be any leadership at all. A good ship will go on even if the leader passes on
